How To Use Coconut Syrup In Your Smoothie
I used to really love banana and maple syrup smoothies. Coconut syrup is an alternative. These days are really keep maple syrup in the house as we don’t indulge in as many pancakes since my lady lumps started expanding. I do love me some pancakes *sadface*.
A knee injury and a torn rotor cuff both in a 12 month period have me doing a whole lot less time in the gym. I’m still very naughty but I try to balance it out. Coconut Syrup resembles Pancake syrup so for those who can’t tolerate maple or golden syrup it’s a great replacement.
Banana & Coconut Syrup Smoothie Recipe
- 2 x bananas (I use lady finger bananas)
- 200ML Almond/coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon coconut syrup
Blend Until Smooth
Tip: Put your syrup in after the milk or it stick to the sides of the blender.
